How Can severe Constipation along With Gastritis Be Treated?
I have excruciating pain during bowel movements and when I feel like passing glass except I can t pass gas because it feels like the whole pelvis is going to fall if I do.after bowel movement the whole perineal area hurts, the labias also and the sphincter feels hard as a rock.also hurts any time I am uncomfortable,or uncomfortable situation, stressed, worried, late for something, cold, hot, nervous...i followed the treatment for anal fissure but that didn t help.the strong pain medications don t help either.could it be levator ani syndrome?
Your symptoms are nonspecific, but these may be suggestive of gastritis, GERD or a hiatal hernia so you should do gastroscopy to evaluate it more accurately. This is caused by irritation of stomach mucosa by certain food or medications, stress and smoking. So firstly it should be treated with home remedies and changing dietary habits.
You need to avoid fried food, carbonated drinks, coffee, alcohol and spicy food. You should eat more milk products, vegetables and boiled food. Also, certain antiacid medications may be required such as Pantoprazole or Ranitidine.
In cases of severe pain, the diagnosis should be established with endoscopic tests which include gastroscopy or barium swallow test.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
